Dean Carlisle appointed as Director of Rugby

Following on from our recent elevation to the Premier Grade, Joondalup Brothers are extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Carlisle as our new Director of Rugby for the club’s inaugural Premier Grade season in 2015.

Dean is a well-known and highly regarded coach in the State, he has vast experience at both junior and senior levels having coached previously at Perth Bayswater where he was the Premier Grade Head Coach, University and Nedlands where he was the Assistant Premier Grade Coach for the 2014 season. He has also had considerable experience with State and regional junior teams and was the Director of Coaching at Trinity College before taking up this role with the Brothers.

Dean will take over from Brett Gallagher who is leaving the club after two very successful seasons to return back to New South Wales for family reasons. Brothers’ Chairman Liam Smyth said “we are very pleased to have someone of Dean’s calibre and experience on board for our first season in the Premier Grade. He has an excellent reputation in the State and having spent some time with him through the selection process, he shares our vision for the future of our club both on and off the field”.
