We are pleased to announce the appointment of David Wells as our Premier Grade Head Coach for the 2017 season. Dave has coached at the Brothers for over 12 years. He transitioned into senior coaching in 2014 after leading the clubs colts for a couple of seasons. Prior to that he coached our junior teams from 9’s to U16’s. Dave has been a major part of the development of the clubs senior playing group during our elevation years. Dave coached our inaugural Premier Reserve Grade team is 2014 and Premier Grade sides in 2015 & 2016. Dave’s commitment to developing our talented junior players is evident, he has been integral in establishing and running the clubs high level academy now called The Future Prems Program over the past 7 years. Dave’s passion for coaching has also seen him coach representative teams within WA over the past 8 years, most recently the State U15’s, State U17’s and State School boy’s sides. He has also been heavily involved in coaching at Rugby WA with the elite junior players through the academy and Emerging Force programs. Dave has put together a high level coaching group that are committed to working hard to establish the Brothers as a powerhouse of club rugby in Perth in the years ahead.
