2019 Junior Presentation & Awards

Junior Presentation day was carried out at the Arena at 11:00 on Sunday 15th September, Unfortunately, Masie our Junior President could not be there due to a family bereavement. I would like to pass on our condolences and our thanks for the work he has done this season. Congratulations on yet another great year I know we have had some bumps in the road and I am sure that these will be all ironed out for our next successful season. Thank you to all parents, managers and coaches for all their efforts for the year. Once again, I need to reiterate that the club could not exist without its volunteers. We are always looking for fresh volunteers and we will have a role for you please put your hand up. Thank you to the junior committee, the coaches and managers, and a special mention to Emma and Kirsty for all the work they have done.

Now to our junior’s, at the beginning of the season as Im sure you know we were struggling for coaches, I would like to thank a couple of our experienced coaches namely Denis, Simon French, Liam and Woody with his two sons Max and Mitch and of course Neil Dunne for stepping in and helping the junior teams get off the ground, I have personally witnessed the compassion of Woody, Max, Mitch and Neil with the U6 team, thanks guys.

I would like to congratulate the U11, U12, U13, U15 and U17 teams for all getting through to finals. The U11, U13 and U17 achieving the minor premiers finishing the whole of the league unbeaten. The U11 managed a convincing win over Kalamunda 26 – 7, the U13’s played a great game and just fell short of Bayswater 15 – 12, and finally the U17’s which has been another successful year with the initial challenge of the two age groups combining was as the results have proven is a great combination of talented youngsters from both age groups.
