Perth Gold have won the new NRC2 championship in a hard fought final against NSW Country 15 to 5. Brother’s representatives Sheldon Tarawa vice captained the side which also had Brendan Vorster and Victor Harris in it. Our boys played a massive role in the tournament and have represented WA and the Brothers extremely well both on and off the field. The tournament was played in Adelaide over 4 days with Perth Gold winning their 2 lead up matches comfortably.

Game 1 the boys made their intentions clear with a demolition of Tasmania 108 to 3.

Game 2 the boys continued where they left off with another outstanding performance beating South Australia 53 to 5.

The Final against NSW Country was a far tougher match with Perth Gold running out winners 15 to 5.
