We had costumes from Great Gatsby to Peaky Blinders. The club rooms were transformed, entering them was a walk back in time.

An amazing night, the band were brilliant, the place and those who attended looked incredible. Our annual Ball & Awards night themed Roaring 20’s the “Bootleggers Ball” was a huge evening. Players, Special Guests, Committee, supporters, and our sponsors were on hand to see off the 2021 season in style. Thank you to our special guests, City of Joondalup Mayor Mr. Albert Jacobs, Western Force Champion Brynard Stander & wife Carla, Anton Zachey & partner Candice Bull, for coming together for our last big event for this year, everyone got into the theme. We had costumes from Great Gatsby to Peaky Blinders. The clubrooms were transformed, entering them was a walk back in time. There is no doubt it was well worth the price of admission, and some.
The official part of the night, our Club & Senior Awards kicked off the evening, oh that was after the AB v Bokkies that was! Congratulations to all our award recipients.

Time to Party
The band, Dr. Bogus took to the stage and belted out some cracking tunes, the dance floor filled up and the drinks were flowing. Plenty of laughter & rugby banter between the Kiwis and South Africans, coupled with some enthusiastic singalongs, the party went well into the night and early hours of the morning.
Bringing our club together in such a wonderfully themed and well-organised event takes a huge amount of very hard work, loads of planning, late nights, and a heap of stress. We are very fortunate to have an incredible group of committed members that do this year in and year out. Words don’t do sufficient justice to the dedicated “Crew” that work tirelessly in the lead-up, arrive Friday night and Saturday morning to set everything up. Then turn up again on Sunday morning to clean up and pack down. These people are the Superheroes of the social side of our club. Emma & Mostyn Jones, Donna & Brett Allen, Ali & Denis Skillen, Tanya & Anthony Wall, Kirsty Wood, your efforts have been top shelf, and the club thanks you. Special mention to Mariza Olivier, our wonderful Photographer. Wayne Wairau from Creative Marquees for looking after the club…AGAIN with the spectacular Dome, the stage, and the dance floor. Also Jason from Perth Paella Parties for the delicious food.
