2022 Brothers Youth Academy

With 51 players registered, our academy has once again delivered a high-quality program. Head Academy coach Denis Skillen was delighted with the efforts & development of the group which ranged in age from U12s to U16s.

“Our focus was to go back to basics and work hard on the essential core skills that are needed to be successful on the field”. It’s also great to have our club coaches working hard on their own development throughout the program. This is part of their journey as well and to learn from the Western Force coaches was a highlight for us all”.

Congratulations to all the players who took part and furthered their development ahead of the next phase of their rugby journey. As many of our senior, past, and present players can attest to, this is the gold standard of Academies and you only have to see some of the names that have come through the ranks to see the quality – it’s an investment in our future that we are so proud of at Brothers!

Shout out to these legends who took out the Age Group awards for most improved for 2022. U12/13s – Maddox Keenan. U14s – Mason Dooley-Shaw, U16s Toma Berhault.

A massive thanks also to our club coaches that invested their time into the development of our juniors which ensured the players received the very best training. The program was well led by club legend Denis Skillen.
